American Airlines Airbus A321 - PSA Heritage livery - N582UW

With the acquisition of US Airways in 2013, the number of predecessors that formed today's American Airlines also grew. Founded in 1949 in San Diego, California, Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) called itself the “friendliest airline in the world” and emphasized this with a smile on the nose of its “Smileliners”. American Airlines recently transferred the retro livery already created by US Airways to this Airbus A321. This new 1/500 scale release complements the A319s already produced in the liveries of two other predecessor airlines, Piedmont Airlines and Allegheny Airlines. The small series of American Airlines Heritage liveries will be continued.
