With this new release, Herpa is closing a significant gap in the Qatar Airways fleet in the 1/500 scale. In addition to 30 of Boeing's Dreamliner with the original short fuselage, the national airline of Qatar currently operates a further 18 Dreamliners of the longer 787-9 variant, which are configured for 311 passengers in a two-class seating arrangement. Four additional 787-9s are scheduled to follow in the course of 2025.
This die-cast metal model airplane is in a scale of 1/500. The model is
approximately 5 ¾ inches long and has a wingspan of 5 inches. Suitable
for collectors aged 14 and above.
